An embroidery for my portfolio class. The assignment was to illustrate a personal journey.
The quote in the sky is by Edvard Munch, “From my rotting body flowers shall grow and I am in them and that is eternity.”
Basically that’s where the imagery all started from for me.
Tombstone reads “Vi møtes igjen” which is Norwegian for “We meet again.”
I don’t want to write too much, so I’ll let the piece speak for itself.
I dont want sex, I want the things that lead up to it. The slow kissing then the passionate kissing, then the pulling closer, the neck kisses, the grabbing, biting, heavy breathing, grinding, the pauses while you catch your breath, feeling each other. Oh my.
The Midnight Planétarium watch was a collaboration between Van Cleef & Arpels and Christiaan van der Klaauw. The watch is made of 396 separate parts and features the six closest planets orbiting the sun in real time (Uranus and Neptune were left out because you probably won’t live long enough to see either one complete a full orbit).
"What about when you get old?"
Tattooed Seniors answer the question.
I got a lot of requests for an edit without the pitch change, so here you go I hope you guys like it :)
